movie screening of 'Waiting For Godot

Respected Sir,Here is my interpretation on the movie screening of 'Waiting For Godot':-

 

 

 

 

1)  The play waiting for Godot is one of the interesting plays because this play is related with every aspect of our life it is related with birth, death and religion also. I was really inspired by this play because in our life we are struggling allot to survive ourselves but every people wants to get name, fame and money into their life but for getting those things people forgets that one day the death will come and whatever we have earn or achieve into our life that will become worthless or it will go from our other relatives.
2. The tree is only important in setting because it symbolize numerous element like bush, weeping tree. It is used for religious.
In second act there is few leaves grow it suggest the change of nature. Everything is goes on changing. It is for desire. In nothingness but there is a meaning.

3. The beginning of both acts same; evening falls in to night and moon rises. It indicates the repetition of nature. At evening we spent some time for peace and thinking and night we spent time for worthless act. In that act we have some desire and despair for that we are living. Night indicates darkness of life but behind the darkness there is light. Ultimately they are waiting for Godot but they have such expectation that may he will come. Sometimes waiting is nothing but it is reality of life.

4. Debris used as a place of survival in this play. Where we can keep our self hide and free from other. One day everything will be destroyed. The morality is reality. It is the place of good and evil. It is a boundary. It is a useless and nothing can grow in it but we can cultivate.

5)     The play begins with the dialogue “Nothing to be done”.  The whole play is begins with nothingness because we would not found any beginning or end into the play but we can find great meaning threw this play which shows great way of living life. We can see also see that in life many people things that all problems were come in my life because of my bad fortune but human being himself is the reason of their problems. But many people will do suicide to end their life because they would not found any hope of living life.

6) Yes, it is positive play. Whether someone died with the weapon of bomb or through any other weapon. The fact is that life never ends. It is goes on.

7) Beckett used these two props have very symbolic value. Boot represent the hungry life of Estragon and hat used for Vladimir because he thinks a lot. But the things is that though Estragon more concern about his body and Vladimir more concern about his life, the fate are similar for both.

8) The scene of these two Pozzo and Lucky as a master-slave very significantly put by Beckett. Through this he satire on people and their mentality. People become so-called habituated. They cannot think out of the box. People don’t like to take responsibilities that’s why they surrender themselves in front of God. They don’t like to become free.

9) Absurdity lies in this play because even the writer of the play Beckett doesn’t know that who is Mr. Godot. Many scholar critics cannot reached at the ultimate answer. We can say that maybe Mr.Godot is God, maybe Mr.Godot is death and maybe Me.Godot is life it self. Because people cannot satisfied with one thing. They always wanted something more and that’s why they became unhappy. But not live life as it is.
  So according to me Godot is nothing but objects to show that every people in their life either they busy or not they only waits for death.


10) Yes I agree with this statement that waiting for Godot is the play for search for the self because to search is itself a word which indicates to find out something which was very difficult word for us. Our self also very difficult to search because If we read Edward’s play ‘search for the self ‘we can say that to search our humanity is very difficult because humanity is related with thought of the people we can see that Lucky find his self as slave of his master but why he wants to be slave because in his whole life he was lived his life by being slave of his master so he has search his self as a slave. So we can say that people always  wants to help other people and they were doing help also but that was not true help because that help was only on show up of their charity so that was not true humanity because those people thinks themselves as superior but the reality was different.

11..yes,no one can understand this play by one time watch it is very deep philosophy to understand it requires more reading rational way not go through assumption ,and in matter of audio visual it depends on viewers/listeners..understanding and high thinking in which perspective they have to this play.

12.) The sequence which I liked the most is “Pozzo- Lucky episode in both acts”. First of all this sequence creates humour in this play. Very deeply we can observe the religious discourse, Pozzo can be seen as the religious leader or the so-called messenger of God and Lucky is the blind follower. Vladimir doubts Pozzo while Estragon is looking at the materialistic life.
             They want to go but they can’t escape. They are repeating human life. Vladimir is searching answers and Estragon forget everything and busy to maintain his physical body. The main theme is they are passing their time. Their life doesn’t make any different.

13. During the screening of movie there I the effect of existential crisis and meaninglessness of human existence in the irrational and indifference universe. They are searching their life
The play is not free from existentialism. What they are? Why they are here? They are accepting everything. Totally there is no despair in character. They are suffering but still they are enjoying. When the second time boy comes to pass message Of Mr. Godot at that time we can see that they are not free from fear. Crist murcy on us.

14. Vladimir and Estragon talks about ‘hanging’ themselves and commit suicide, but they do not do so because the inner voice is coming out and instinct for life provokes. They become habituate with the life process. First before the act we require habit of thinking. They are acting as eluding the meaningless of life. Their body overpowering their thought.

15   When act of Eluding hope come. Many first hope many hope another life hope  supposed to avoid meaninglessness life help of Eluding. Vladimir and Estragone want to sucide but body avoid for sucide so body and mind are differnt body incests body cry, and avoided think. and so both are given time of tomorrow.

16)yes , by two characters Beckett created political satire on England Portrayed Pozzo as blind master so it is very hated towards political aspects they try to showing in directly in play.
